Fort McMurray SAR Training and Action Calendar 2011

· General Monthly Meetings: Every 1^st Thursday of the months, 8:00 PM, Bob Lamb Training Center by Keyano College.

· Executive Monthly Meetings: Every Monday before General Monthly Meeting, 7:30 PM, Bob Lamb Training Center.

o The Home Hardware BBQ: June 11th and June 12th, 2011

o The following courses are as per Training Schedule (Click)

1. Standard 1st Aid & CPR

2. SFR - Standard 1st Aid & CPR - Recertification

3. WFA - Wilderness First Aid

4. TRA - Track Aware

5. TRI - Tracker I/II

6. FLP - Flag Person

7. SFD - SAR Fundamentals

· Background Check:

All SAR members are required to have background checks done. Here are the steps:

o Pick up forms and letter at our monthly meetings

o Personally take all forms and letter to the RCMP detachment in Timberlea.

o You will be asked to pick-up results at a certain date.
