·       Basic Skills Outdoor Survival (Overnight campout)*

 

Date:            Saturday, February 20, 2010

Time:            10:00 a.m.

Location:     Father Beauregard Parking Lot (Abasand)

      Materials:  

·       24 hr pack including:

handsaw/axe, knife, 50’ string/nylon braided, space blanket (x2), plastic sheet/tarp 8’x12’ (x2), matches/fire starter, flashlight and extra batteries, pot or metal cup for cooking and drinking, sleeping bag, plastic bags)

·       Food/drinks for the duration

·       Clothing - Remember to dress for the weather (i.e. wear layers, no jeans, hat, mitts, water repellent boots, spare socks),

·       1st Aid Kit (optional)

 

*) This course is weather dependent.

 

 

·        Man-Tracking Course – Date will be announced
